Different faces of digital holography: from holographic microscopy and tomography to holographic displays
Professor M. Kujawinska will present the results of recent research performed in Photonics Engineering Division, Warsaw University of Technology in two application areas:
– digital holographic microscopy (DHM) and holographic tomography (DHT);
– holographic capture of photorealistic 3D content, its manipulation and imaging in wide angle holographic display using coherent and incoherent light.
Malgorzata Kujawinska PhD DSc. is SPIE Fellow, full Professor of applied optics at Warsaw University of Technology, head of Photonics Engineering Division at Institute of Micromechanics and Photonics. She is an expert in full-field optical metrology and 3D imaging, hybrid opto-numerical methods in mechanics, image processing, automatic data analysis for metrology and multimedia, design of novel photonics measurement and display systems.
The Lecture will take place on 17. November at 4.30pm at the Annex Seminar Room 190 in CAPE building, Electrical engineering, West Cambridge Site.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
Everyone is welcome.
